The journey complete: Class of 2025 FLP graduates

GCW’s Future Leadership Program (FLP) reached a successful conclusion in October 2025, marking another milestone in the organisation’s commitment to developing future leaders and fostering innovation across the business.

Often referred to internally as the “Top Gun” program, the FLP is designed to help emerging leaders build the skills and confidence required for future management and supervisory roles. Supported by experienced facilitators and mentors, participants worked collaboratively over several months to explore business opportunities and develop practical solutions that could deliver value to the organisation.

As part of the program, participants formed cross-functional teams and focused on a range of business improvement initiatives, including strengthening regional brand awareness, enhancing employee recognition, and exploring the potential applications of artificial intelligence within the workplace.

The program concluded with team presentations to senior leaders, where participants shared their findings, recommendations and insights. The presentations demonstrated strong teamwork, creative thinking and a clear focus on delivering meaningful outcomes for the business.

The success of the 2025 program builds on the achievements of previous cohorts and reinforces GCW’s ongoing investment in leadership development. By providing employees with opportunities to learn, collaborate and solve real business challenges, the Future Leadership Program continues to support professional growth while helping drive positive outcomes across the organisation.

As GCW looks to the future, the program remains an important part of developing the next generation of leaders and encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
